Therapeutic Approach
I follow what is called an integrative or eclectic approach to therapy. This means I individualize your treatment based on your unique biological, social, and psychological factors by pulling from several psychological theories. I utilize evidence-based techniques primarily from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Solution-Focused Therapy. I use a strengths-based approach to highlight what you’re doing well along with what you want to work on, and I use a systemic lens to explore how you and your environment are interacting. We’ll explore how the past and the present affect each other to create a brighter future, together.
